The Greek Yoghurt Company is over a decade old; from humble beginnings we have rapidly expanded, based on our fantastic traditional products, family values and customer service. Our family owned Brisbane business was launched in September 2002 by Celia, her sister and father at the iconic Jan Powers Farmers Market at Sanctuary Cove.
We quickly built a reputation of having some of the best Greek yoghurt you can buy in Australia (just see what some of our customers say here). The traditional straining methods we use create a delicious, creamy and thick Greek yoghurt that industrial methods simply can’t match.
Our use of 100% fruit puree adds to the delicious taste, and being gluten free means anyone can enjoy our Greek yoghurt. As our yoghurt became more and more popular, it was stocked in fruit shops and supermarkets, selling out quickly. To meet demand, we expanded our staff and branched out into gourmet foods. We continued with the same approach to creating our famous Greek yoghurt, to all our other gourmet food products.
We believe that our products need to be of high quality, healthy, make use of locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, and most importantly, delicious. This belief has served us well as we expanded, and as The Greek Yoghurt Company goes forward we will hold to these values to bring you the best products possible.
